Supporting those in need

We support our local community in a number of ways. We have assisted individuals and families to clear and clean their homes when they have found themselves overwhelmed and unable to manage this without help.

Volunteers have have cleaned, tidied and made safe gardens for vulnerable and elderly people who are physically unable to maintain their outside spaces. This has provided them with greater independence  and the ability to enjoy their gardens again improving their well-being. 

During the festive season we provided over 100 gifts for children. With the support of Father Christmas and the Intensive Family Support Team, these got to those most in need, who otherwise may not have received any gifts. A local care home received 20 gift packs for their elderly residents who were not expecting to see family or receive a present over the Christmas period. 

In emergency situations  we have been able to provide food cards to local people, making sure they can provide the basics for their family in the short-term while they get back on their feet.
