Break the Stigma
It’s ok not to be ok, but it’s never ok, not to talk about it!
It’s ok not to be ok, but it’s never ok, not to talk about it!
'Break the Stigma' started in the UK to raise awareness about the epidemic of First Responder and Veteran Suicide. We walk around Fairlands Valley Park on the third Sunday of every month followed by a stop for refreshments at Costellos Cafe. Our aim is raising awareness of poor mental health that affects so many people and to break the stigma associated with it. Regular physical activity is known to improve mental health, quality of life and wellbeing. This creates the opportunity to walk with others and get some exercise, whilst chatting with like-minded people who really care. If you, or someone you know, has been impacted by mental illness, join us to help Break The Stigma.
Meet in the car park off Six Hills Way, Stevenage at 10:30am for a 11:00am start.
